**As a Sales Lead, you will**:

- Assist management by opening and closing the clearance center as needed, performing opening and closing standards according to company policy
- Assist and support trusted advisors through the service and selling process when you are the leader on duty
- Lead the team by providing leadership, direction and continued development
- Work with the Sales Manager to ensure sales training and materials are utilized to keep the team educated on product knowledge, selling skills and operational efficiencies
- Partner with all store team members to become our customers’ favorite furniture brand
- Develop strong and lasting relationships with our customers
- Assist customers in furnishing homes by confidently advising them through their journey
- Provide a positive service and selling experience which includes connecting, advising and caring for the customer through a beginning to end process.
- Help to ensure the store environment looks great by maintaining our brand standards, which includes cleaning, straightening and maintaining merchandise and assisting with floor sets when needed
- Stay up to date on product knowledge by participating in training opportunities
- Present yourself in a way that represents the brand positively
- Assist in fostering an energetic and positive work environment

**As a Sales Associate, you must meet these requirements**:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and team members
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- High energy / drive to win attitude
- Self-motivate through setting and achieving goals
- Strong work ethic and a desire to continuously improve
