Horsham, United States US Air National Guard Units Full time

**Duties**:
As a HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER (MILITARY), GS-0201-12, you will serve as a staff advisor responsible for providing military human resources assistance, guidance, and direction (personally and through subordinate staff) to military units. Provide supervision, guidance, and team leadership to dual status and title 5 employees, Active Guard Reserve (AGR), and traditional, drill status members. Direct, manage, plan, organize, and control military personnel, recruiting, retention and education and training activities for all military organizations supported by the Military Personnel Flight. Communicate military human resources policies and procedures through meetings, written documentation, oral presentations, and state of the art communications and media. Direct military education and training activities and administers the following programs: job qualification training (JQT), formal school training, professional military education (PME), ancillary training, and the USAF Extension Course Institute (ECI) training. Ensure military human resources activities are focused on readiness and effective utilization. Directs customer service activities. Direct force management initiatives, to include assignment/reassignment, training/retraining, administration of enlistment processing and promotion programs, as well as reenlistment/extension, separation and retirement processing. Oversee implementation of military human resources programs for full time technicians, dual status technicians, and Title 5 NG excepted employees, and Active Guard Reserve (AGR) under the guidance and purview of the state Human Resource Office (HRO). Ensure work center training programs are in place for traditional status guard members. Advises staff regarding policies, procedures and directive of higher-level management or headquarters. Provide direct oversight to the Family Program and the Family Program Coordinator contract. Perform other duties as assigned.

- AOC B: NG Employees in the 111th Attack Wing (This includes 270 EIS, 201 RHS Det 1, PA ANG HQ Det 2)
- AOC C: NG Employees of the Pennsylvania National Guard
- AOC D: All Service Members of the Pennsylvania National Guard
- AOC E: Federal Employees in an Agency outside of the Pennsylvania National Guard
- AOC F: U.S. Citizen Applicants

**GENERAL EXPERIENCE**: Experience gained through civilian and/or military technical training schools within the human resources business programs are included as general experience qualifications. A validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade.-
