**Position Overview**: Turn14 Distribution is a Performance Warehouse Distributor with distribution centers strategically located throughout the US, catering to niche vehicle markets. The Director, Human Resources position will be based in Horsham, PA but have overall responsibility for ensuring the HR support in our corporate locations and the other locations throughout the country.

As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. You will be a key driver of our company's culture, a champion of our core values, and a positive influence on our employees' happiness, growth, and education. This role demands a process and detail-oriented individual who can lead and manage the execution of HR initiatives and business areas detailed below.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Talent Acquisition**:

- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conduct external compensation studies to offer competitive employment opportunities; make fiscally responsible hiring recommendations.
- Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Improve and oversee new hire welcome orientation and onboarding process.
- Negotiate employment agreements in collaboration with hiring managers and department leadership.

**Talent Management**:

- Develop and deliver effective strategic HR initiatives to drive employee performance, engagement, and retention.
- Partner with and support leadership at all levels.
- Enforce and enhance Performance Management policies and procedures.

**Benefits Administration**:

- Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives.
- Partner with benefits providers and brokers to negotiate competitive benefit packages, ensuring the best value for employees.
- Serve as liaison to finance and payroll teams in the administration and deployment of benefits.
- Manage annual merit planning process.

**Employee Relations**:

- Foster a community of acceptance and belonging for all. Provide a platform for feedback and organizational growth.
- Sponsor employee committees to facilitate employee engagement, recognition, and appreciation.
- Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, communication, and dispute management.
- Support and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.
- Facilitate positive working relationships between regional facilities, remote employees, and the central office.

**Learning and Development**:

- Create and implement learning and development programs and initiatives to enhance employee skills and that allow for both personal and professional growth.
- Deploy management training relative to development needs and company goals.

**Legal and Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and senior management to address legal matters related to HR and employment practices.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook to remain compliant with changing laws and regulations.
- Manage investigations related to HR compliance issues, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution.
- Manage Workers Compensation programs and Safety compliance.

**Leadership and Management**:

- Lead an HR department that sets the standard for company-wide culture.
- Foster a team of HR professionals through professional development, collaboration, and performance accountability.

**Strategic Planning**:

- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with the company's strategic goals.
- Promote a culture-driven organization by being a culture champion and ensuring core values fit in all HR and company related activities.
- Collaborate with leadership on developing the HR budget. Manage the HR budget to ensure costs are maintained appropriately.
- Balance an entrepreneurial corporate culture with the bureaucratic needs of a rapidly growing organization.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, or equivalent job/industry experience
- A minimum of 10 years of generalist human resources experience required.
- Demonstrated excellence in managing HR functions.
- Certifications: SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Supportive, compassionate partner to leadership colleagues and internal customers.
- Keen ability to plan strategically for the long-term while balancing the day-to-day needs of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Genuine interpersonal skills and likability, with the ability to deescalate and resolve conflict.
