**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, evaluate, and implement short-term and long-term payroll policies and processes.
- Provide proactive leadership and guidance to resolve payroll issues.
- Direct local payroll staff and business unit teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Analyze complex transactions, identify issues, and implement plans for improvement.
- Establish strategic partnerships with internal departments and manage external vendor relationships.
- Provide thought leadership within HR Operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team.
- Participate in audits and maintain open communications regarding payroll developments.
- Identify and mitigate potential payroll-related risks and implement controls.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data.

**Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of management experience.
- 10+ years' experience with multistate payroll and large employee populations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience with Workday and/or PeopleSoft 9.1 or higher.
- Certified Payroll Professional or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
- Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven history of successful leadership.
- Experience leading payroll system integrations.
