Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the LTL industry.
- Utilize existing network of contacts to identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with current and prospective customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations to prospective clients.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to evaluate progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure adherence to standards and mitigate risks.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and expand professional network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in LTL sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Existing network of contacts within the LTL industry, including shippers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Strong understanding of LTL pricing structures, freight logistics, and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
