**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide cost related analysis and assessments of products and services and performs parametric tradeoff studies and assesses cost estimates.
- Proficiency with using modern computational tools and spreadsheets to conduct cost assessments.
- A cost estimator develops program life cycle cost estimates and performs concepts and technology tradeoff studies for programs and projects.

**Required Education/Experience**:

- 1 year of experience required; More than 1 year of experience preferred.
- Certified in the Cost Estimating career field by a recognized professional society or educational organization preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work within a team.
- Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Possess good communication skills.
- Able to obtain and retain a security clearance.

**ADA SPECIFICATIONS**:

- Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent period of prolonged sitting may be required.
- Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:

- Travel: Less than 5% expected
