In this vital role the Executive Director of the Translator/Solutions Team within the Tech Innovation Lab will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of tailored technological solutions to meet specific business needs. This leader will integrate business and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery and scaling of innovative solutions, positioning the organization at the forefront of technology-driven transformation. The role requires a strategic thinker and a dynamic leader capable of managing cross-functional teams and fostering strong partnerships within and outside the organization

**Leadership and Strategy**:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Translator/Solutions Team, aligning with the overarching goals of the Tech Innovation Lab and the company's mission
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technology translators, ensuring they have the tools, training, and support needed to succeed
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team

**Solution Delivery and Integration**:

- Oversee the identification, development, and delivery of tailored technological solutions that address specific business challenges
- Collaborate with the Enterprise AI and Technology teams to derisk and scale solutions from proof-of-concept to full implementation
- Ensure the alignment of technology solutions with business needs, driving business performance and strategic initiatives

**Partnerships and Collaboration**:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including business unit leaders, data scientists, and engineers
- Function as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure seamless communication and effective translation of business requirements into technical solutions
- Engage with external partners, including tech startups and academic institutions, to leverage cutting-edge innovations and best practices

**Project Management and Governance**:

- Implement robust project management practices to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of projects, ensuring they meet established goals and deliver expected outcomes
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks to manage project risks, resources, and priorities effectively

**Innovation and Continuous Improvement**:

- Drive a continuous improvement mindset, encouraging experimentation and adoption of emerging technologies
- Lead initiatives to assess and learn from innovative technologies, incorporating findings into the development of future solutions
- Ensure the team remains at the forefront of technological advancements, proactively seeking opportunities for innovation

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Doctorate degree & 6 years of technology experience OR
- Master’s degree & 10 years of technology experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree & 12 years of technology experience AND
- 6 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the life sciences industry, with roles spanning multiple functions across the commercialization process.
- Experience in technology product management, from ideation to scale, using agile product development approach
- Experience building and managing executive-level relationships across a matrixed environment
- Ability to influence and drive decisions at all organizational levels
- Presentation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
- Project management and coordination/collaboration skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in working with or for Digital Health Startups, Biotech firms, or other emerging technology companies in a business development, partnership, consulting, or deal-making capacity
- Technical knowledge as it relates to digital transformation at the enterprise level
- Passionate, proactive, and curious mindset, with a drive for continuous learning and innovation
