- As the Education Program Director, you will foremost be responsible for creating a positive culture and increasing student achievement by consistently ensuring the implementation of the instructional practices and strategies endorsed by the company and adopted under IDEA. This position operates as a special education director oversees multiple special education programs and operates and functions as a liaison between the central office and the school district's designated site contacts by establishing and maintaining positive, interactive working relationships.**Responsibilities**:
- Provide visionary leadership to enhance student achievement and operational effectiveness by supervising staff, developing and executing performance management plans, identifying professional learning needs, and actively engaging in professional development opportunities.
- Participate effectively in the recruitment and selection process to ensure the establishment of a competent site team.
- Analyze staff professional development needs, aligning them with Expatiate's standards of care, and consistently acknowledge achievements while promptly addressing concerns to ensure efficient site operations.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, administration, finances, resource allocation, and fostering positive district/community relationships.
- Drive the enrollment process from referral to the last day of attendance, ensuring timely classroom placement, conducting informative site tours, managing classroom rosters based on student needs and state regulations, and contributing to transition plans for students.
- Instruct, monitor, and evaluate staff and students in utilizing learning materials and resources to ensure instructional fidelity and student performance/evaluation.
- Observe, evaluate, and report on staff and student performance and development using appropriate tools such as the IEP Checklist.
- Participate in assurance and accreditation processes to ensure site performance meets or exceeds established standards.
- Prepare and deliver required reports on student progress, achievement, and activities with accuracy in numerical analysis and presentation.
- Utilize assessment data to measure student growth, guide instruction, and implement academic interventions as needed for each student and site.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress and development as mandated by state laws, Expatiate, SEIS, and district policies.
- Ensure timely completion and distribution of IEP progress reports and service delivery reports for all students.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory requirements such as the IEP process, CDE compliance, state testing, and Expatiate policies.
- Provide support, encouragement, and counseling to students facing academic challenges.
- Fulfill travel requirements including site visits, seminars, and conferences.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including providing direct services as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
- Must hold or be in the process of obtaining a Master’s degree in education, special education, psychology, counseling, behavioral analysis, social work, behavioral science, or a related field from an accredited postsecondary institution.
- Credential authorizing special education instruction and a minimum of two years of teaching experience in special education before transitioning to an administrative role.

Preferred Qualifications:
- At least two years of prior experience in educational leadership or managerial positions.
- Administrative credential from an accredited postsecondary educational institution and two years of experience working with students with disabilities.
- Minimum two years of prior experience teaching in a special education program setting.
- Minimum two years of prior experience working with students with disabilities.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, content areas, and instructional strategies.
- Familiarity with state and/or national content standards.
