**Summary/objective**—

**Essential functions**—

**Guest Service and Engagement**

**Personality and Engagement**: Maintain a positive, energetic, and friendly personality, engaging guests with a welcoming demeanor and a smile.

**Guest Interaction**:Greet guests, answer questions, and offer personal suggestions or recommendations.

**Service Standards**:Follow all brand standards and Steps of Service to ensure a high-quality guest experience.

**Order Management**: Possess thorough menu knowledge (both food and beverages) to accurately take orders and understand POS substitutions.

**Order Accuracy**: Clearly note any modifications and highlight food allergies, communicating them to the kitchen and expo.

**Sales Techniques**: Upsell and suggest beverages and food items to enhance the guest experience.

**Beverage and Food Delivery**

**Order Delivery**: Collect and deliver food and beverage orders accurately, greeting guests while multitasking.

**Compliance**: Adhere to all food safety practices, California ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) regulations, and personal hygiene standards.

**Table Maintenance**:Pre-bus tables, maintain cleanliness, and use trays or bus tubs for transporting dirty ware.

Transaction Management

**POS Proficiency**: Use the POS system and handheld tablets to complete guest orders and process transactions.

**Accuracy**: Ensure accuracy in all transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and app payments.

**Expediting and Stocking**

**Order Assembly**: Collect, assemble, and verify food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy.

Stocking: Maintain service stations, point of sale materials, and takeout supplies.

**Food Production**

**Preparation**: Prepare Mimosa and Bloody Mary mixes, fruit garnishes, coffee station supplies, and handle proper food storage and labeling.

**FIFO Adherence**:Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) standards for food storage.

**Cleaning and Maintenance**

**Sanitation**: Clean stations and surrounding areas using proper PPE, adhering to hygiene practices.

Trash Handling: Use rubber or disposable gloves for cleaning and trash removal, washing hands thoroughly after each task.

**Opening, Midday, and Closing Duties**

**Shift Readiness**: Conduct opening duties to prepare stations for guests, perform midday maintenance tasks, and maintain service area standards.

**End-of-Day Tasks**: Conduct closing duties to prepare stations and areas for the next day.

**Management Reporting**: Inform management of any guest concerns or barriers to service and report workplace injuries promptly.**Competency**—

**Supervisory responsibilities**—
- No direct reports.

**Work environment**—
- Primary work environment is Indoors with outdoor patio seating area; temperatures range from 50F-90F with varying weather conditions.
- Noise level can be loud at times due to crowds, order taking and music.

**Physical demands**—
- Lift and/or move up to approximately 30 pounds frequently.
- Walking while lifting up to approximately 30 pounds frequently.
- Bending/stooping/kneeling required - frequently.
- Climbing ladders - occasionally.
- Routine standing & walking for duration of shift (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

**Position type and expected hours of work**—
- Part time to 32 hours/week or more, working shifts as early as 5:00 AM working shifts as late as 4:00 PM.
- Schedule work shifts from 4- 8 hours, with occasional meeting/training shifts of 2 hours.
- Due to unexpected business demands overtime (shifts greater than 8 hours) may be required.
- Working hours can be included weekends and holidays.
