Front Desk Rep

Provide office support to front office staff in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of office flow.
- Check patients in and out including obtaining patient ID and insurance cards
- Receive direct and relay telephone messages
- Heavy on phone support and customer service with patients
- Efficient patient scheduling
- Maintain and keep an updated scanning/filing system
- Have an understanding of insurance referral processes
- Insurance eligibility and verification
- Understanding deductible, out of pocket, and co-insurance
- Provide word-processing and secretarial support
- Ability to multi-task and execute delegated duties
- Collect payments
- Placing orders in a timely manning
- Sending clinical notes and orders to receiving facilities
- Responsible for next day schedule including appointment confirmations, explaining financial responsibility to patients, checking for referrals, and printing proper forms for visits.
- Responsible for ensuring the over all flow of the office is maintained at all times

**Experience**: Preferred
- Heavy on phone support and customer service with patients. Efficient patient scheduling Maintain and keep an updated scanning/filing system Have an understanding of insurance referral processes Insurance eligibility and verification

**Education**: Preferred
- High School or better

**Behaviors**: Preferred
