We are adding a **Quality Assurance Technician **that will support our plant. The person in this role will be working a 12:00p - 8:00p schedule, some flexibility is possible.

**Job Duties**:

- Understands, follows, maintains, and enforces all established safety, health, GMP, and quality control procedures and policies.
- Provide hands-on quality support and guidance to all staff.
- Ensure the product meets customer specifications and expectations.
- Complete quality checks and supply quality support to all levels of the business.
- Assist in processing data for reporting monthly KPI information.
- Assist with maintaining SQF & ISO.
- Statistically analyze quality data/results to facilitate problem-solving.
- Create customer COA’s and manage raw material COA’s.
- Investigate and assist in determining the root cause and corrective actions for customer complaints.
- Closeout actions from internal and external audits.
- Conduct training if needed.
- Organize trials for new products.
- Support and drive continuous improvement throughout the plant.
- Coordinate and participate in rework activity.

**Requirements**:

- High school degree or equivalent
- Two to three years of relevant QA/Safety experience a plus.
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong analytical, risk analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to communicate well with a diverse set of colleagues.
- Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification desirable.
- Must be organized, reliable and detail oriented.
- Ability to review data and effectively identify trends and key issues.
