Part-Time/ Tuesday - Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

**Position Summary**

The _M.I. Lewis Case Worker _will work directly with clients one-on-one to provide emergency assistance and resources to guide them toward self-sufficiency.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Provide one-to-one case management to clients with respect to their emergencies.
- Provide one-to-one support to clients in their employment and life skill needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete case notes
- Ensure client information is accurate and up to date in the County database.
- Communicate effectively with outside vendors
- Assure compliance with all sources of funding
- Be knowledgeable of Community Resources and refer clients as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Management in response to a rapidly changing environment.

**Qualification and Experience Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Service or related field. degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of Social Service experience
- Bilingual preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently, and be reliable and organized.
- Must have high proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite

**M.I. Lewis Mission**
The mission of the M.I. Lewis Social Service Center is to render aid to individuals with emergency needs, to make referrals to other agencies for additional support, and to encourage its clients toward self-sufficiency.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
