The Department of Corrections is currently recruiting to fill a Buildings and Grounds Superintendent position, located at Green Bay Correctional Institution, located in Green Bay, WI.
Position Summary

This position will plan and direct the institution building and grounds maintenance program and coordinate building construction/remodeling projects with the Department of Administration (DOA), Division of Facilities Development (DFD). Responsibilities include maintaining buildings, property, equipment, and service systems in a safe and reliable operating condition. Supervises the Building and Grounds Supervisor, Power Plant Superintendent, and crafts worker staff. This position works with the Warden, Deputy Warden, Security Director, and CMSD to develop the biennial capital building request and the Department of Corrections six-year building project plan; conducts inspections, develops project requests and makes reports, and performs other duties as assigned.
Salary Information

This position is in pay schedule and range 81-03 with a starting annual salary between $ 54,787 - $90,396. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A 12 month probationary period is required.

Job Details
