We have an opening for an experienced Retail division Manager to drive the company’s success by working as part of our team, providing exemplary customer service. This individual will have a strong attention to detail, the capability to work with mínimal supervision and stay on task, and be courteous, reliable, and professional always. This person will oversee day-to-day retail operations and focus on generating continuous success and revenue for this department.

**Requirements**:

- Identify products and services that the customer needs or wants to make their pool experience more enjoyable
- Assist with education opportunities for the team and continue mentoring and coaching team
- Be able to troubleshoot water chemistry situations
- Be able to walk customers through basic pool equipment operations and functionality
- Day to day inventory control
- Handle Customer service concerns and follow ups
- Identify when and if additional services are needed to generate revenue
- Prepare equipment quotes
- Supervise and direct sales associates
- Manage the schedule
- Identify, interview and hire appropriate person to fill job vacancy
- Responsible for identifying personnel that are not meeting job performance goals
- Implement programs and procedures that facilitate the companies efficiency and mission.
- Be able to teach sales associates about products and services we offer, chemicals, chemical safety, equipment knowledge, autovac knowledge, water chemistry issues, pool anatomy, safety
- Be able to communicate effectively with customers and teach them about their pool, water chemistry, etc.
- Ensure quality control
- Ensure Store is always stocked, clean and presents itself in a professional manner
- Create promotions, store design, store displays
- Supervise and maintain Polaris work bench and processing
- Work with other departments on related services
- Open/close store
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
- Provide leadership and guidance to store teams to drive performance and customer satisfaction

**Skills/Education Required**:

- Proven experience in retail management
- Computer skills and ability to learn to use new software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel required
- High School Diploma
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent math skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with appropriate level of attention to each
- Be detailed oriented and organized
- Have neat handwriting
- Have a positive disposition and professional appearance
- Have good interpersonal relationship skills
- Be able to identify potential problems and prevent them accordingly
- Possess the tact and knowledge necessary to deal with customers, employees and co-workers effectively
- Ability to give direction and supervision to multiple employees
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with the appropriate level of attention
- Own and maintain appropriate set of hand tools
- Ability to handle and resolve conflict in a manner that results in a win-win outcome
- Fluent in English/English speaker
- Self-starter and motivated
- Have the ability to teach and coach sales associate skills
- Have strategic and analytical skills and experience

**Skills/Education Preferred But Not Required**:

- Experience in water chemistry
- Fluent in Spanish

**Hours**:

- Full time position. Sunday and holdiays hours are required during the spring and summer._

Mon - Saturday: 8:45 am to 6:15

Sunday: 10 am - 2pm
