**Position**: Events Coordinator**

**Full-Time, 40 Hours, Hourly, Flexibility with Schedule.**

**Must be available some Evenings & Weekends - M, T, TH, F**

**(8:30am - 5:00pm) & Wed (10:00am - 6:30pm)**

**Reports to**: Central Administrative Team Coordinator**

**REQUIRED**: Cover Letter, Resume and completed St. Andrew’s Employment Application.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Promotes extreme hospitality for campus events with guests and staff. Manages outside group events and supports all church events.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordinates the scheduling of the Church calendar, ensuring the seamless integration of both internal church events and outside events.
- Creates and manages reservations for outside group events.
- Creates diagrams for outside group events for Minister of Facilities and Facilities Team.
- Manages details on event requirements including timing, rooms, resources and support staff.
- Manages estimates, invoicing and payments for outside events.
- Substitutes as receptionist when main Receptionist is out of the office.
- Secured Newport Harbor High School parking lot for Sunday services and other special events for overflow parking.
- Provides tablecloth requests to Receptionist to collect and confirm (approve) request on CCB.
- Maintains and manages the use of resources in storage room B018 and reception closet.
- Meets with Facilities Support Team member weekly to review needs for upcoming events.

**Other General Responsibilities**
- Works with Minister of Facilities to ensure effective communication of programs and events.
- Responds calmly and professionally to crises, as they occur.
- Ability to use a computer with the knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Performs other duties as requested by the Central Administration Team Coordinator.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - ability to create rapport and credibility.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook); knowledge of payroll system (Paycom) preferred, not required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be an active member of a Christian church.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Positive and supportive attitude in working with others; patience and capacity to train others.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or work related experience.
- Experience and understanding of audio and visual technical set-up and use of technical equipment is preferred.
