**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- ** Strategic PR Planning**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy that aligns with Human-I-T’s mission and organizational goals.
- Craft compelling narratives and pitches that resonate with our target audiences, highlighting Human-I-T's initiatives and successes.
- ** Media Relations**:

- Establish and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers across leading media platforms to secure impactful coverage and feature stories.
- Organize press events, coordinate interviews, and manage speaking engagements for the CEO and other key spokespersons to enhance visibility and brand awareness.
- ** Content Creation and Management**:

- Create engaging press releases, media pitches, and storytelling materials that effectively communicate Human-I-T’s contributions and innovations.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all PR activities and materials, maintaining alignment with the organization's branding and communication guidelines.
- ** Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Monitor media coverage diligently, analyzing PR campaign effectiveness and making strategic adjustments to optimize reach and impact.
- Prepare regular reports on media interactions, coverage statistics, and campaign performance for internal stakeholders.
- ** Community Engagement and Networking**:

- Act as a spokesperson and representative for Human-I-T at various events, conferences, and media opportunities, effectively conveying our mission and achievements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including nonprofit organizations, corporate sponsors, and community leaders, to expand our network and enhance our public profile.

**30-60-90 Day Plan**
- Demonstrate firm understanding of Human-I-T organization mission, values, and goals
- Understand Human-I-T’s current organizational priorities, strategy, and systems for collaboration
- Complete orientation sessions. Meet with the CEO and key team members. Review past PR campaigns and outcomes.
- Be proficient operating within Human-I-T systems using Asana, Slack, Google, and Chat GPT4
- Completed Draft of PR strategy presented to CEO and Marketing team. Initial media contacts made with positive feedback. Has a developed list of potential stories to pitch based on upcoming Human-I-T activities
- Secure 1 successful media coverage or feature story in any media market. Report on PR campaign results with metrics on reach and engagement. Adjusted PR strategy based on campaign evaluations.
- ** 5 years experience in PR, Communications, or related field is required**
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences.
- Proven track record of building relationships with media and securing high-impact coverage.
- Creative and strategic thinker with a knack for storytelling and presenting complex ideas in an accessible and compelling manner.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
