Job Overview

KULE is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design/Production Associate to support our rapidly growing business. This role will work closely with the Creative Director and Director of Production to execute seasonal CAD designs, create technical packs, and ensure smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Boards: Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop seasonal CAD designs and execute them on boards.
  • CADs and Technical Design: Create all CADs for productions and collections, maintain up-to-date CADs throughout development and production, and assist with the creation of seasonal graphics based on notes from the Creative Director.
  • Tech Packs and Sampling: Work with the Director of Production to create initial tech packs for new styles, ensure smooth transitions during production, and obtain necessary approvals. Coordinate with factories to obtain samples and provide updates to the Sales and PR teams.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with factories via email and work closely with the Creative Director and Director of Production to maintain design aesthetic and fit.
Requirements
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in apparel and tech design.
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) with a strong eye for color and design, and basic knowledge of graphic design.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, ERP experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of technical design, knitting, and patterning a plus.
  • Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and self-directed environment.
  • Full-time in-office position.
