**NOW HIRING -- CNC Machine Operators**

A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines. These machines are used to cut, shape, and produce precision parts and components for various industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and engineering.

The job description of a CNC Machine Operator typically includes the following responsibilities:
**Machine Setup**: Prepare the CNC machine for operation by loading the necessary tools, fixtures, and materials. This involves reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate machine settings and programming.

**Programming**: Input the necessary instructions and commands into the CNC machine's computer system. This includes creating or modifying the machine's program using specialized software, or entering pre-existing programs for the desired part or component.

**Machine Operation**: Start and monitor the CNC machine during operation to ensure proper cutting, shaping, and machining of the materials. This involves adjusting machine settings, feed rates, and tooling as needed to achieve accurate and precise results.

**Quality Control**: Inspect finished parts and components to verify their conformity to specifications and quality standards. This may involve using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy.

**Maintenance and Troubleshooting**: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the CNC machine, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn-out parts. Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues or malfunctions that may arise during operation, or escalate complex problems to maintenance technicians or supervisors.

**Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, tooling changes, and production output. Complete production reports or logs, documenting any quality issues, machine downtime, or maintenance performed.

**Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Follow established quality standards and regulations, such as ISO certifications or industry-specific requirements.

**Continuous Improvement**:Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvement, and waste reduction. Collaborate with engineers, programmers, or supervisors to implement enhancements or modifications to the machining process.

In addition to these core responsibilities, CNC Machine Operators are expected to have a good understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and material characteristics. They should possess technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings are also valuable in this role.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
