We are seeking a dedicated Relief Receptionist to join our team at a bustling emergency veterinary hospital. This position requires availability during nights and weekends. Prior experience in veterinary reception is highly recommended due to the fast-paced nature of our environment.

***Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in a high paced, stressful environment.
- Manage phone calls, intake emergency cases, and assist with client inquiries.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Handle administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and high-stress situations.
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude in a team-oriented setting.
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners and visitors.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of reception area and hospital facilities.

***Qualifications**:

- High-energy individual with a proactive, "busy-body" approach to tasks.
- Previous Veterinary Receptionist experience preferred.
- Strong emphasis on being personable, client-focused, and compassionate towards animals.
- Ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects (up to 20 lbs) as needed.
- Attention to detail is crucial for accurate record-keeping and appointment scheduling.
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements specific to veterinary hospital settings.
- Willingness and capability to assist with cleaning and maintaining hospital facilities as part of daily duties.
