**Position Summary**:
This position provides instruction to students who are preparing to enter or are already a member of the skilled trades workforce. This position will provide instruction using one or more of the following methods, depending on the assigned course: lecture, hands-on labs, and distance learning technology (online video lectures, quizzes, etc.). Course outcomes vary from entry-level employment preparation to professional development.
- **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
The following are the functions essential to performing this job:
- 1. Facilitate instruction that aligns to course outcomes, as assigned.
- 2. Ensure that students complete all course work, including participating in hands-on lab projects.
- 3. Actively engage students throughout course, promoting critical thinking and workplace skills.
- 4. Prepare and administer lesson plans for each class of the course.
- 5. Provide students with timely outcome progress reports.
- 6. Report grades and attendance, and complete other faculty administrative tasks when required.
- 7. Develop new course content, when assigned.
- 8. Other duties as required for student success.
- **Required Minimum Qualifications**:
1. Industry license or certificate in area of expertise

1. Previous experience teaching adult learners
- 2. Experience using computers and associated technology
