**Position Title: Radiology Quality and Safety Manager 70002**

- **Work Schedule**: Full Time, 8 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM

**Position Summary**
- The Radiology Quality and Safety Manager collaborates with departmental leaders and staff to ensure smooth and efficient patient care operations in the Radiology Department. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams to coordinate improvement efforts, manage policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. The Quality and Safety Manager drives performance improvement, ensures alignment with hospital initiatives, and serves as a positive change agent.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
- Lead multidisciplinary teams for quality and safety initiatives.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of the centralized Performance Improvement/Performance Control Plan for the Radiology Department.
- Coordinate improvement efforts with other departments, including emergency, inpatient, operating room, risk management, and outpatient imaging.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as TJC, ACR, DOH, MQSA, and others.
- Conduct audits, monitor benchmarks, and track and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and promote a service-oriented culture of safety through training and coaching.
- Address patient complaints and collaborate with departmental leaders to identify root causes.
- Track and oversee systems used for critical and incidental findings.
- Document and communicate medical device recalls with action plans and outcomes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Education & Experience Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- Radiologic Technologist or RN license required.
- At least 7 years of experience in Radiology, with 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other performance improvement methodologies preferred.
- Proven track record of creating and sustaining a culture of safety in Radiology.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to develop presentations and analysis to provide recommendations to operational leadership.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $188,000.00 per year
