**Position Overview**

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Funds Management Operations Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of our funds management platform, specifically focusing on high-net-worth operations. As the leader in funds management operations, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operations, upholding industry and regulatory standards, and driving excellence within our organization.

**What You Will Do**
- Ensure that the firm's funds management operations run efficiently and in strict compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Document, review, and continually update departmental policies and procedures. Offer recommendations for workflow and system improvements, implementing changes as necessary.
- Act as a primary service liaison for internal departments, custodians, clearing firms, FinTech Partners, and our transfer agent.
- Collaborate with various third parties, including escrow agents, transfer agents, clearing agents, CAIS/ICAP, and internal departments, to oversee the reconciliation process. This includes areas such as sales commissions, shareholders, redemptions, outstanding shares, and financial transactions.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of subscription documents to determine their eligibility for proper inclusion in the product offerings.
- Balance the concerns of advisors, operational capabilities of transfer agents and clearing firms, and adherence to fund policies and procedures in addressing and resolving issues. Conduct in-depth research, provide clear explanations on resolving items and system-related problems, and recommend solutions to prevent future issues.
- Participate in all phases of the issue reconciliation process, proposing both short-term item-specific and long-term procedural solutions.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, market conditions, new product lines, product features, distribution channels, and more.
- Utilize your expertise in mainstream financial back-office processes and structures to prepare the firm's funds management operations departments for future growth.
- Perform thorough reconciliations between internally managed investor information and third-party transfer agents.
- Manage a wide range of investor service requests from initiation to completion, including transfers, ad-hoc reporting inquiries, and more.
- Occasional travel may be necessary as needed.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements of this role with or without a reasonable accommodation.

**Ideally, you'll have**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high net worth distribution operations, preferably within the financial services industry.
