Job Description

Our client a fund accounting service firm is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to round out their team. The firm has a physical presence in Chicago, and does allow for the opportunity to work from their office, if desired. However, the position is intended on being fully remote for the qualified applicant. The firm itself is a boutique agency that focuses on a dedicated group of clients in the Chicago area. Job Duties: Prepare financial statements, accounting workpapers, and investor reporting packages. Calculate fees, carried interest/waterfall calculations, and manage subsequent closes including computing interest to/from investors. Complete full capital call accounting/finance and notification procedures. Work with auditors and tax professionals to provide timely information as it relates. Job Requirements: Education and Experience 3+ years of accounting experience specifically in the fund accounting or private equity industries. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and highly organized. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and handle multiple projects #LI-MG1 Additional Information
