**Summary**

As a Permitting Coordinator for Wan Bridge, you will be assisting construction staff by ensuring the accuracy of paperwork associated with new home construction. You are responsible for overseeing the Starts Process at the Houston office. This includes collecting paperwork, submitting approvals and permits, and entering data into different project management databases. This position requires a high level of organization and ability to manage the critical tasks related to starting a home.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Research and setup MUD districts/City requirements for Water Taps & Permits
- Reviews start packages prior to distributing to field to validate accuracy
- Attend start meeting, gather information and additional job folders for weekly starts.
- Address daily issues concerning house files
- Assist team members as needed to ensure projects stay on track and on time
- Maintain master subdivision files
- Research/resolve take-off issues
- Create Community Build Orders from the recorded Plat
- Order all checks for Permits, Water taps, and Impact Fees
- Order Lot Surveys for each Homesite
- Create a Starts Calendar to track the status of all Permits, Surveys, and Approvals
- Coordinate a Starts Meeting to review the schedule, sales pace, and permit status
- Coordinate all lot purchases between divisions, developers, & title company

**Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years' experience within a fast-paced office environment required with
- working knowledge of residential or multi-family construction
- Detail-oriented, and well organized with ability to prioritize, and manage
- multiple projects
- Must be able to effectively communicate with office staff at all levels, field
- personnel, vendors, and sub-contractors
- Must be a team player with strong sense of urgency
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Computer literate with proficiency in excel
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Possess strong work ethic, integrity and loyalty

**Essential Functions**:

- Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, and after hours as requested.
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
- Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills.
- Lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
