**THE POSITION**:
Are you looking for a rewarding job making a difference in the lives of children? The Office of Children, Youth, and Families is seeking a Human Services Analyst to plan, review, analyze, and coordinate information, programs, and services related to children and youth in foster care. The focus of this role will be to improve permanency outcomes and ensure older youth receive the skills necessary to transition to adulthood.

**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:

- This position is assigned to the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN) and Independent Living (IL) Unit in the Bureau of Policy, Programs, and Operations (BPPO). You will assist the supervisor with program and administrative duties of the SWAN and IL programs, in addition to permanency and older youth initiatives across OCYF. The purpose of this work is to support county children and youth agencies, as well as private agencies with options and services needed to assist in improved service delivery statewide. This involves all levels of work including the planning, review, analysis, and coordination of information from multiple sources to improve permanency outcomes for children and youth in foster care. Public speaking, technical writing, analytical, and leadership skills are all essential to this position.
- In this role, you will play an integral part in our mission to support the provision of quality services and best practices designed to ensure safety, permanency, and well-being of Pennsylvania's children, youth, and families.

**W**ork Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch (Negotiable).
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, reporting to the office one (1) day per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Travel to state and federal meetings is necessary.
- ** Salary**:_ _**In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
