Ceres Nanosciences Inc. (“Ceres”) is engaged in the research, development, and commercialization of innovative sample preparation products, based on its proprietary Nanotrap® particle platform. Nanotrap® particles capture, concentrate, and preserve the most valuable analytes, enabling early and accurate detection of diseases such as cancer, cardiac, neurological, and infectious diseases, resulting in improved patient outcomes and reduced health care costs.
The VP of Product Development will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Business Officer, and the Chief Technology Officer to manage multiple development programs centered on proprietary Nanotrap sample processing particle technology owned by Ceres Nanosciences. The VP of Product Development will be required to:
- Design experiments and product trials for using Nanotrap® particle technology for infectious disease detection, drugs of abuse detection and biomarker discovery;
- Lead project managers / senior scientists in drafting project plans, setting project deliverables and milestones for product development efforts (Medical devices, Diagnostic assays, grant programs);
- Track program progress and provide monthly program updates to the top management team;
- Communicate with customers, contractors, industry partners and collaborators to identify new opportunities and facilitate better coordination
Required education and experience: Minimum bachelor’s degree in biotechnology or a science related field. Must have Biotechnology experience and proven experience managing technology and product development with experience in sample processing technology
Pay: $90,000.00 - $137,000.00 per year
