Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist
Key Role:
Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain, including disruptions, delays, cybersecurity threats, geopolitical risks, and quality issues. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks, leveraging advanced analytics, automation tools, and industry best practices. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management initiatives and adjust strategies as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as legal, cybersecurity, compliance, finance, procurement, and operations, to assess supplier risk and ensure alignment of risk management activities with overall business objectives. Lead the supplier incident response protocol by coordinating with appropriate stakeholders to ensure relationship management, effective communications, root-cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and mitigation strategies. Prepare and present reports on risk management activities and outcomes to senior management. Enhance risk management capabilities continuously by evaluating emerging technologies such as AI-driven risk analytics and supply chain monitoring tools, and integrating real-time data sources to improve decision-making. Stay ahead of risk issues such as industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and drive projects that address emerging risks and market developments. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a risk management role
2+ years of experience in a supply chain risk management role
Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies
Experience developing internal controls and cross-functional processes
Experience leveraging technology and data to inform risk-based business decisions
Knowledge of supply chain dynamics, risk management principles, and industry principles such as NIST SP 800-161 or ISO 31000
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Risk Management, or Threat Analysis field
Additional Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in a risk management role
4+ years of experience in a supply chain risk management role
Experience with risk assessment frameworks such as NIST SP 800-161, ISO 31000, and FAR or DFARS compliance requirements
Experience using risk analytics tools such as Dun and Bradstreet, Exiger, or Everstream Analytics
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational and project management skills
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Risk Management, Threat Analysis, or a related field
Professional Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
