The Senior Information Security Analyst plays a vital role in securing the patient experience at Children's National Hospital. This position applies existing experience associated with analysis and remediation of information security risks that could lead to compromise of our systems. The successful candidate will use their expertise to catalog risks, identify and remediate vulnerabilities, secure data, and establish policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the InfoSec mission by applying cybersecurity best practices to protect hospital systems.
- Use knowledge of cybersecurity operations tools, network security, and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Assist the cyber team with daily tracking of IS ServiceNow tickets & incidents to ensure proper follow-through and ticket closure.
- Understand NIST/HIPAA security control frameworks and assess control responses for accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent training and work experience (Required)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on vulnerability management, cybersecurity operations, analysis, forensics, and/or investigations (Required)
