This will include maintenance of the essential lab blow fly stocks, performing genetic crosses as needed to maintain lines and work with senior lab personnel. The person will insure that all safety regulations are met, update the lab safety manual as needed, coordinate provision of materials (supplies and fly lines) for students and postdocs and supervise undergraduates.
