Posting Number:PG195546TMPosition Number:11ASO3572Position Type:TemporaryEssential Job Duties:The Local Foods Research and Extension Assistant will be responsible for supporting research and extension activities related to community-based food systems. Research activities may include qualitative data collection (ex semi-structured interviews, focus groups); qualitative data analysis (ex coding), writing up relevant reports and/or academic publications; developing, analyzing, and summarizing survey data; and/or conducting literature reviews on relevant topics. Extension activities may include translating research into public-facing outputs, including resource guides, trainings, and Extension publications, among others.
