Quality Assurance Engineer

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Engineer and play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and regulatory specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics.
  • Participate in design and process reviews.
  • Provide training and support on quality standards and procedures.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards, including AS9100 and AS9102.
  • Generate and analyze quality data.
  • Coordinate and support First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102.
  • Assist in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
  • Lead quality planning efforts for new product development.
  • Develop inspection plans for purchased products and parts.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other quality engineering and manufacturing support duties.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality management systems (QMS).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Skills / Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality management systems (QMS).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and corrective action methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with root cause - corrective action investigation.
  • Knowledge of First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102.
  • Familiarity with Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
  • Quality certifications (CQE, CQA, etc.).
  • Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA or NADCAP regulations.
  • Experience with quality inspection tools (Net-Inspect, InspectionXpert, etc.).
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 Annually
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $45.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
