Position Overview We are looking for a full-time Childcare Teacher excited to help shape little hearts and minds with excellence, patience, and joy. This full-time role is perfect for someone who is energetic, compassionate, dependable, and passionate about early childhood development within a Christian setting. You’ll be an essential part of our daily rhythm building relationships, leading learning activities, and making sure each child feels seen, safe, and loved. What You’ll Do Provide warm, attentive, Christ-centered care to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged. Lead structured daily routines: meals, naps, learning centers, outdoor play, crafts, and Bible-based lessons Create age-appropriate learning activities that support developmental milestones (fine motor, literacy, sensory exploration, social-emotional growth) Encourage positive behavior, emotional regulation, and biblical conflict resolution Maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom environment Communicate with parents with kindness, professionalism, and transparency Support the mission and values of Kids Choice Christian Daycare through consistent, full-time presence What We’re Looking For Full-time weekday availability (30-40 hours/week) A genuine love for children and early childhood education Reliability, dependability, and strong communication skills Patience, warmth, and the ability to create a calm, joyful environment CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience in childcare, ministry, or early childhood education (preferred) Ability to follow safety protocols, KDHE guidelines, and structured routine Compensation Competitive hourly rate based on experience Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule Salary/Compensation: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour recblid d6ugx6sx4qz7zo31vmbsq7o9ic60a9
