Are you an experienced Accounting Manager seeking a new challenge? Do you have a strong background in financial reporting, cost accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Our company, a leading player in the automotive industry, is looking for a seasoned Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive industry, experience with Reynolds and Reynolds, and a solid background in calculating commissions. Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Implementing and maintaining robust financial reporting systems, procedures, and policies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate record keeping.
  • Calculating and processing commissions in accordance with company policies.
  • Conducting cost accounting tasks, including variance analysis, cost analysis, and inventory valuation.
  • Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Coordinating with internal and external auditors for regular audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making.
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve financial performance.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting management role, preferably within the engineering or automotive industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to calculate and process commissions.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA or CMA) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
