Staff Accountant Location: Griffin, GA

Overview of a Staff Accountant
Due to significant growth, we're seeking a Staff Accountant to join our family-owned organization-a leader in the heavy construction equipment industry. This role offers the chance to make an impact during a period of transformation and modernization.
Responsibilities of a Staff Accountant

Track project costs and classify expenses accurately.
Manage inventory accounting processes and support financial analysis.
Reconcile bank statements, balance sheets, and other accounts.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to ERP transition projects and process improvements.
Provide audit support and analyze financial data for trends and variances.
Qualifications for a Staff Accountant

Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong inventory accounting experience.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft D365 experience is a plus).
