Position Details: Director of Women's Services- Overland Park, KS Location : 10500 Quivira Road, Overland Park, KS 66215 Shift Timing : Days Project Duration : Fulltime / Permanent job + Offering excellent benefits Relocation Assistance: Case by case Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, provides nursing leadership for assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care of assigned area(s) with twenty-four (24) hour accountability. Collaborates with physicians and other departments to meet patient and family needs. Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner. Supports the hospital mission in accordance with regulatory standards. Job Requirements: At least 5 years of RECENT (Within the last year) as a manager or director in a large hospital – experience in Women Services. Needs experience with at least 3500 births a year in a high acuity facility. Education: BSN is Required Licensure/Certifications: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. Certification in area of specialty preferred. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required.
