About Our Company Evolution Parking & Guest Services is Americas exclusive provider of specialized valet parking and front door services exclusively for large hotels and luxury resorts nationwide. Our strict focus on only serving the hotel industry affords our clients the benefit of a more sophisticated guest service platform without distractions from other verticals. Job Description The Vice President of Business Development is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation to close, on hotel parking arrangements in all U.S. markets. The VP develops and implements the agreed-upon marketing plan which will meet both personal and business goals by expanding the customer base nationally. The VP works with operations and sales support teams for achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the Companys overall strategy and goals. Develop an annual business plan in coordination with the President and other senior leaders which details follow-up activities throughout the year while remaining focused on exceeding sales quota. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Companys target markets, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Maintain a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models with an ability to customize for specific new business leads. Communicate effectively and professionally with business owners and decision makers at all levels to effectively convey our business objectives and product offerings to potential clients. Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors. Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the Company offers to overcome business issues. Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking. Assist in the implementation of Company marketing plans as needed. Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business issues, the effects of those issues, and solutions to those issues. Provide expertise on customer retention activities including business review meetings, RFP preparation, etc. Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities by entering sales pipeline and activity into the Companys CRM system. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Education & Experience At least 5 years Business Development/Sales and/or Operations experience preferably in the Hospitality and/or Parking industry. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Experience with enterprise software solutions, CRM systems, and large, complex organizations. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. Proven ability to achieve sales quotas. Business Development/Sales experience in parking services.
