Honolulu Habitat for Humanity is seeking a relationship-oriented leader who is passionate about our mission: to put Gods love into action, and bring people together to build homes, community and hope. The Executive Director provides overall operational leadership in achieving the organizations mission and directing the day-to-day activities of Honolulu Habitat for Humanity. The ED works in partnership with the Board of Directors to develop strategic plans, annual goals and objectives, and leads the staff and operational components of the organization toward the achievement of these goals. Responsibilities include fundraising, community and media relations, financial management, strategic planning, staff leadership, and serving as a liaison with both the Board of Directors and community partners. Because our success depends on a small, but effective team of staff and volunteers, and engaged and supportive external partners, we are seeking a leader who possesses exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills.
Bachelors degree in business or related field
~Experience with non-profit fund development including grant writing/grant administration, fundraising campaigns, and relationship management with major corporate and individual donors.
~ Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel

Working knowledge of site and permit processes
Experience working in real estate development, construction project management, or related field.
Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and virtual platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet. Strong financial acumen, including knowledge of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, budgeting preparations, and audits.Excellent verbal, written communication skills, including the ability to confidently speak in publicAble to meet deadlines and effectively manage complex projects.Salary And Benefits Honolulu Habitat for Humanity offers a competitive total compensation package including a 401(k), medical, dental, drug and vision insurance, disability coverage and PTO.
