This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager – Fasteners in the United States. The Senior Product Manager – Fasteners will oversee the full lifecycle of fastener products within decking and exterior categories, driving strategy, development, and market success. This role requires balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, including product roadmap creation, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, sourcing, sales, and marketing. The ideal candidate will monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure products meet customer and market requirements. With a focus on innovation, technical expertise, and operational excellence, this position plays a key role in advancing the business while supporting team development and stakeholder engagement. Accountabilities · Develop and execute the product strategy and multi-generational roadmap for the Fasteners category. · Lead cross-functional product development and management, including design, testing, manufacturing, logistics, quality, compliance, and customer support. · Manage relationships with suppliers and external technical service providers, conducting regular business and project reviews. · Analyze product line performance, including sales trends, financial metrics, and market/competitive insights, and deliver actionable recommendations. · Serve as the subject matter expert for fasteners, providing guidance to Sourcing, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams. · Develop and deliver training for internal teams, distributors, and contractors on product features, applications, and best practices. · Collaborate with Product Marketing to maintain technical and sales collateral, installation guides, and supporting materials. · Identify and evaluate emerging fastener technologies for potential strategic and business impact. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred. Equivalent experience with a proven record of product success considered. · 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Design, Engineering, or related fields; experience with tangible building materials is a plus. · Strong cross-functional coordination, project management, and execution skills. · Financial and analytical acumen to monitor performance, pricing, and profitability. · Technical expertise in product development, testing, and lifecycle management. · Proficiency with computer tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ERP and technical design software (e.g., Solidworks) preferred. · Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer-focused skills. · Ability to manage multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and travel moderately (25–35%). · Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to driving results with both strategic insight and hands-on execution.
