A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at an elementary school located just northwest of Minneapolis, MN. This onsite, contract position is designed for a dedicated professional to provide specialized support and instruction within an elementary caseload serving kindergarten through third grade. Location: Minneapolis, MN (Northwest area) Position Type: Full Time, Contract Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Caseload: Approximately 17-18 students (K-3) Number of Openings: 1 Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students on your caseload Provide direct special education instruction and support primarily to students ages K-3 Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure cohesive learning experiences Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with legal and school requirements Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) student population is essential Strong understanding of best practices in special education for elementary-aged children Ability to manage and support a caseload of approximately 17-18 students Excellent munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Benefits and Perks: Full-time contract position with consistent weekly hours Opportunity to work in a supportive elementary school environment Hands-on experience with a diverse special education student population Qualified candidates interested in making a meaningful impact on young learners with special needs are encouraged to apply.
