Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized professional recruiting firm is assisting our global manufacturing client with a Quality Document Control Specialist with a QMS background to work onsite at their Crystal Springs, MS plant.
Summary: Responsible for creating and/or updating Quality Management System documents with its acceptance criteria and providing relevant training and instructions to the teams within their area of responsibility about the processes.
Under the supervision of Quality Management, this individual will support implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) in their area of responsibility in accordance with the Business Unit’s QMS, applicable standards, and internal regulations.
Participate in Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and continuous improvement activities.
Provides leadership and technical expertise about Quality Management System solutions to the teams
Ensures all necessary trainings for QMS are available within the appropriate tools or platforms and the organization is aware and trained.
Quality Management System
Ensures the document management system (DMS) holds all relevant QMS related documents as official, controlled documents.
Ensures Business Unit’s QMS strategy is deployed at the local units.
Supports execution of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
Supports identification and execution of systematic continuous improvement actions to improve QMS process performance.
At least one year of experience in a quality assurance documentation role.
MUST have experience as an Internal Auditor on ISO 9001 Standards, Production Quality, Document Control, Calibration
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
