Check out our website: About Us | Durbin About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality System Specialist to join our team on-site and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to controlled substances. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational integrity and regulatory adherence across the facility. Key Responsibilities Oversee the complete lifecycle of controlled substances, including receipt, storage, dispensing, record keeping, ARCOS reporting, and disposal. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct internal audits to verify compliance and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and deliver training programs for employees on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for controlled substances. Experience in quality systems, auditing, and training. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing controlled substances in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or laboratory setting. Experience with cGMP and regulatory recordkeeping requirements Education Requirements: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Sciences, Quality Assurance).
