As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. *Duties** Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes with precision and creativity. * Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality, adhering to food safety standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food preparation. * Assist in menu development and contribute innovative ideas for new sushi offerings. * Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs to management. * Provide training and support to junior kitchen staff as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment. * Adhere to all health regulations and safety standards within the kitchen. *Requirements** Proven experience in food preparation within the food industry, specifically in sushi or Japanese cuisine. * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. * Proficiency with knife skills and various cooking techniques related to sushi preparation. * Experience in fine dining or catering environments is highly desirable. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. * A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
