Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced highly motivated  M&A Insurance Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales team, drive productivity, and contribute to our growth in the insurance agency M&A space. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing sales teams, coaching for performance improvement, and achieving both team and personal revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Team Leadership: Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Sales Training & Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentoring to team members, focusing on productivity and performance enhancement.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor sales metrics and team performance, providing actionable feedback and implementing improvements.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Achieve Personal Sales Target:  Close on new business generated by your individual efforts.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, particularly in insurance M&A, to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales leadership, preferably in Insurance M&A or M&A sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of insurance agency operations, valuation, and sales strategies.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing sales teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRMs, G Suite and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Location: On-site in Raleigh, NC, with occasional remote work possibilities after training.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexibility based on business needs.
