ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Specialist


Role Description:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Specialist to join our cybersecurity team.


The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow's Vulnerability Response module and a strong understanding of vulnerability management processes.


This role is critical in helping us implement VR module to automate VM Process namely identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities.


Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure and maintain the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module.
• Integrate vulnerability data from external scanners (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7) into ServiceNow.
• Automate workflows for vulnerability triage, assignment, and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor vulnerability trends and remediation progress.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and risk analysis activities.
• Provide training and support to stakeholders on using ServiceNow Vulnerability Response features.


Required Qualifications:
• Proven 3-year experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and integration methods.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and vulnerability management lifecycle.
• Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and workflow automation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Vulnerability Response.
• Experience with other ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, SecOps).
• Knowledge of CVSS scoring, threat intelligence, and risk prioritization. xrczosw
• Background in IT operations or cybersecurity engineering.
