Compensation

We offer competitive salaries:
Starting EMTs make up to $23/hour
Starting AEMTs make up to $25/hour
Starting Paramedics make up to $31/hour
Job Description

An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) functions as a primary care provider in the pre-hospital setting, assessing and stabilizing patients using Basic Life Support (BLS) skills. The EMT responds to emergent and non-emergent calls as directed by the Communications Center and provides safe, time-bound transportation for patients to designated hospitals or facilities.
Responsibilities

Transport injured or sick individuals to medical facilities
Determine the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish first aid procedures
Administer prescribed first-aid treatment at the site of the emergency or in a specially equipped vehicle
Monitor communication equipment to maintain contact with the dispatcher
Communicate with medical personnel at emergency treatment facilities
Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must have:
A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record through a DMV background check
The ability to obtain state certification
CPR certification
Registration with the NREMT
A commitment to providing exemplary customer service
