Medical Care Coordinator

About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing various clinical tasks, and supporting our healthcare providers. Your primary duties will include:
Preparing patients for examinations and procedures
Assisting with phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests
Taking vital signs, recording patient information, and maintaining accurate medical records
Providing education and support to patients on their treatment plans and health-related topics
You will work closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and are looking for a rewarding career in healthcare.
Requirements
To be successful as a Medical Assistant at Bethany Medical, you must have:
A certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant), or NCMA (National Certified Medical Association)
At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in Family Practice, Neurology, Pain Management, or Internal Medicine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
