Project Description: In December, we are launching a new toolset to manage campaign planning and workflow. As a part of this launch, the role and responsibilities of the Media Strategy team are expanding in scope. We are looking to add incremental resources to the team to help manage the increased responsibilities and projected increase in campaign volume/ media plans. The term of the contract will be approximately 9-months (November 2024 – July 2025)
Position Summary/Job Description: This role supports the strategic media planning process for assigned campaigns by recommending the best media mix and channels to
deliver business objectives. This role will primarily partner with Brand Strategy, Partner & Category Marketing, Media Agency, Creative and Channel Owners to deliver integrated media plans to internal partners/ clients. This role will report into a Manager and will not have any direct reports. They will assist in managing the relationship with the Media Agency
Skills Overview:
What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?
- 8+ Years of progressive media planning experience in advertising agency, client or retail media network setting
- Digital planning and/or buying experience; familiarity managing programmatic and brand onsite campaigns across all digital channels including display, video, CTV, social and retargeting
- Media Planning/ Strategy
- Project coordination skills including rigorous attention to detail, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Cross functional collaboration, especially in highly matrixed, fast paced environment
- Experience managing budgets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?
- Experience managing integrated paid media programs for a national, retail brand
- Experience managing million-dollar budgets
- Experience with paid search, affiliates, CRM/ email, influencers
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products, Salesforce Media Cloud, Workfront
- Experience managing an external agency partner
- Experience with Retail Media Networks
