*Job Description*

* Diesel Mechanics perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders for all makes of Diesel Trucks with efficiency and in accordance with required standards.
* Diesel Mechanics diagnose and repair trucks systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification.
* Diesel Mechanics provide labor and time estimates for required repairs.
* Explain diesel mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner as required.
* Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
* Inspect, test and diagnose equipment and record keeping so that necessary repairs can be made and DOT compliance kept.

*Job Requirements*

As a Diesel Mechanic you will be experienced and aware of the latest technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success.

* ASE certifications in related fields required
* Current DOT certification
* MUST have diesel experience with trucks (3 years)
* Must hold a valid drivers license. Valid CDL and DOT physical card a plus.
* Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
* Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule within hours of operation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
