About the Job

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and transmissions
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
