Job Title: Diesel Mechanic/Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled diesel mechanic/technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles. As a diesel mechanic/technician, you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers. You will work independently, using your expertise to diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty equipment
  • Work independently, using your expertise to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in diesel engine repair and maintenance
Requirements:
  • 6 years of practical experience with diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials)
  • Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
